My Father just celebrated another birthday yesterday. I will spare you his age but rest assured age is just a number. If you don't know my father very well you are missing out and I hope you get the chance to spend time with him soon. He is fun, light-hearted, hard working and caring. He can be goofy at times and always has time for his grandsons. My Dad would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it regardless of how well he knew you or not. My Dad has always worked to hard. He says he enjoyed it but I think he is a little addicted to work and the satisfaction he gets out of completing a job. That will hopefully change this summer since he just bought a new boat. This has been a dream of his for years and he deserves every relaxing minute he gets out on the water. Growing up my Dad worked evenings, but on the weekends we did fun family things. I probably didn't always think so at the time but it is funny how those are some of the fondest memories I have of my childhood. I especially remember watching sat. morning cartoons with my Dad. He loved the "road runner". Now I watch my Dad with my son and I try to absorb every minute of it. It is so special to me to see them together and to see the bond they share. Pop-Pop watches Chase for Chris and I once or twice a week and without him we would have had to put Chase in daycare. I am not knocking daycare but it just was not what we wanted and this is the next best thing to being a stay at home parent. I can not thank my Dad enough. I don't know if he realizes just how much we appreciate his time. Chris and I are both blessed to have our parents close by and I remind Chase how lucky he is to have all of his Grandparents happy, healthy and in his life.Stephanie and Chris created this blog to have fun sharing the antics of baby Chase. Who will one day hate being called baby Chase....Then one day in Jan of 2011 Baby Chase became Big Brother Chase when Baby Kyle came along. Know that our family is complete the story will be about us as a whole and how life with 2 kids unfolds.
