My little outdoors man

In case you are wondering that is not a giant boogy on his nose. Chase's obsession for steps ended with his first outdoor boo boo. He lost his balance and rolled off the steps while playing on the deck and ended up with an abrasion on his nose. My little tough guy didn't even break his stride till I made a fuss over it. Then it was the end of the world and yes I learned my lesson.

Daddy says if we could train him to take the sticks to the fire pit after picking them up it would save him a lot of time. Sorry Daddy he is content to just pick them up and distribute them else where in the yard.

His walking stick is bigger then he is. I wish he would master walking first. He is still a little unsteady outside. Mr. independent does not like to walk and hold someones hand. He probably thinks it will slow him down !!!

Taking a breather
Chase loves being outside. We had a beautiful week last week for being March and spent hours outside followed by a major temper tantrum (Daddy trait) when he was forced to come in. This week it has been chilly and cold and he does not understand that he can't play outside in the rain. The way he stands at the window you would think we were holding him prisoner. Maybe in his mind we are! Happy Spring everyone!
