We inadvertently ended up with a neighborhood block party of sorts today. Chris and Gary and our neighbor Skip started out working on clearing the back yard. Then our neighbor Larry came over and later our neighbor on the other side, Dave came over and started helping. It was a great day for the guys to work. Not to hot, not to windy. just perfect. Chase decided that he would skip his nap today and supervise. He did surprising well for not sleeping today. I lied, he did have a short 30 min power nap at Aunt Heathers in the morning. So needless to say Chase and I spent the entire day outside as well. I bribed him with dinner around 6pm but that only lasted 20 mins. He really is an outdoor monster. I wish I had a before and after picture of our back yard. It looks drastically different now. It is amazing how much larger it looks now. I didn't realize we had so much yard till those ugly spindly trees were removed. Can't wait till it is finished. I hope Chaser likes it.
